01Modules

One card, one effect at a time

Each module has a main control, AMOUNT for how much you hear, and a second page for the finer controls. Put the cards in any order by dragging them, or wire them as two paths, centre and sides, or a feedback loop.

02Moves with the track

Everything can move on its own

Trace records the knobs you turn and loops them in time with the host. Hold records a moment of audio and loops it. Scenes store whole sounds and morph between them, by hand or over bars of the song. A sidechain from another track or the MACRO knob can move any control, up to four at once.

A bypassed module mists over rather than going dark, so you can see at a glance what is playing.

  • TraceLoops your knob movements over 1, 2 or 4 bars, locked to the host tempo.
  • HoldHold to record a moment of audio, release to loop it, before or after the effects.
  • Scenes & EvolveFour stored sounds and a morph between two of them; LINK switches every linked KONSOLL at once.
  • MacroOne knob in MASTER. On a factory preset it gives more of that preset; in your own sounds it can move up to four controls.
  • MutateThe dice nudge the module knobs to a nearby variation. Effects, levels and routing stay; the sound before is kept to go back to.
  • FX BypassOne switch turns off all four modules, or the group you choose. Each module keeps its own bypass.
  • Routing & sidechainChain, two paths, centre and sides, or a feedback loop; another track can move any control.
  • 57 factory presetsLoudness matched, so they differ by character, not level. Tuned by ear in blind tests.
  • GuardKeeps the output under its ceiling and shows when it acts.

Free, no account, no key. The installer and the plug-in will be unsigned, so your Mac will ask once whether you meant to open them; the install guide walks through exactly that.

This will be a beta: tested by ear and by machine, but not finished. Intel Macs are not supported. If something feels off or confusing, I want to hear about it.
